Once the Prophet was asked:

'Tell us, which action is dearest to Allah?'
He answered: 'To say your prayer at its proper time.'

Again he was asked: 'What comes next?'
Mohammed (SAW) said: 'To show kindness to parents.'

Eid al-Fitr

Assalamualaikum,

Eid will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 10th inshallah. May Allah accept!

Prayer timings for Eid al-Fitr at UNM are as follows:

1st prayer - Program will begin at 6:50 am, prayer will begin at 7:30 am sharp. Lead by Mawlana Arshad (Lecture will be in Dari/Farsi)

2nd prayer - Program will begin at 8:20 am, prayer will begin at 9:00 am sharp. Lead by Imam Ali Hofioni

3rd prayer - Program will begin at 9:50 am, prayer will begin at 10:30 am sharp. Lead by Qari Mubin. Talk by Hajji Khalid Aziz in Dari/Farsi.

Note: Prayers will begin at the exact mentioned timings. Please note the following:

-Arrive on time;
-Follow the applicable public health measures;
-Park at the designated parking spots;
-Follow the direction of the volunteers.

Ummah Nabawiah Masjid provides five daily prayers to the Muslim community.

JUMAH (FRIDAY) PRAYER

The Friday prayer khutba (sermon) is given in Dari (Farsi), Arabic and English.

FUNERAL SERVICES

The Nabawiah Masjid has the facilities and volunteers to assist you with the funeral arrangement. We have well-equipped mortuary to give ghusl (bathing) and cold/refrigerated room for the storage of bodies.

TARAWEEH PRAYERS IN RAMADAN

The schedule will be announced every year on the home page.

EID PRAYERS

Ummah Nabawiah Masjid holds 3 eid prayers.

NIKAH SERVICES

UNM is a registered non-profit charitable organization established in 1994. The current masjid building (approximately 28000 SF) was purchased in 1996 and converted to its current state in the last 12 years. The centre is located centrally and is easily accessible by all modes of transportation.

The centre serves the Muslim community in the GTA. The masjid is open for five daily prayers.

UNM's mission is to bring the message of Islam to Muslims and non-Muslims and provide services to facilitate and promote Islamic conduct in an environment of brotherhood.
